THREE WORLD WAR TWO GERMAN REICH MAGAZINES, TWO RELATED DOCUMENTS AND A MEIN KEMPH SCROLL - Three German Reich magazines called DIE KUNST IM DEUTSCHEN REICH. They relate to the style and art of Nazi Germany. The dates are July 1940, January 1941 and December 1941. The contents include art, sculpture, architecture and road construction. For example, in the July 1940 issue there are full page photographs of bronzes of Goering, Keitel, von Ludendorf and Hindenburg. They measure 14” x 11” and are in very good condition. There is a postcard which appears to be for possible subscribers and a typed letter publicising the magazines and a printed Heil Hitler at the end. There is also a scroll with a passage from Mein Kampf.           £55.00 including p/p.

LETTER RE BLICKLING HALL DATED 1905 -   A Letter dated the 12th April 1905 from a Charles Latham of 2 Priory Road, Bedford Park, London. The content concerns the photography of Blickling Hall in Norfolk for a series appearing in Country Life in English Homes.                            The letter has a clip hole in the top left hand corner but otherwise is in very good condition.                                  £3.00 including p/p.

LETTER RE THE DEATH OF THE MARCHIONESS OF LOTHIAN 1904 - A letter dated the 21st November 1904 from Nicholl, Manisty and Company of 1, Howard Street, Strand, London. The letter is headed Marchioness of Lothian Deceased. The content refers to questions raised by the Estate Duty on the Blickling Estate in Norfolk.  The letter has a clip hole in the top left hand corner but otherwise is in very good condition.                                                                                                                £3.00 including p/p.

OCEAN TIMES NEWSPAPER - Monday 4th May 1936. A 4 page cruise edition newspaper published on board Cunard White Star Liners. This particular newspaper being on board the RMS Lancastria. Among the newsworthy topics covered was the Italian - Abyssinian campaign and the Egyptian political crises. The paper has been foded but is still in very good condition.       £6.00 including p/p

HIGH COURT WRIT DATED JANUARY 1890 - A Queens Bench Division of the Norwich District Registry. The writ concerns the Plaintiff claim of £32 0s 4d which was unpaid bills for two musical boxes and the hire of a piano. The plaintiff was W. Howlett and son and the defendant was a Mrs. Jessie Haughton of Morley Hall, Wymondham. The witness being Hardinge Stanley Baron Halsbury, the Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain. The document shows sign of wear to the edges and has been folded but is still in very good condition for it’s age.                                                              £4.00 including p/p.

HIGH COURT WRIT DATED DECEMBER 1901 -  A High Court of justice, Kings Bench Division writ issued on the 7th December 1901. The clain concerns the non payment of rent with reference to a flat at 13 Antrim Mansions in Haverstock Hill, London. The plaintiff being Harry James Cave and the defendant being Henry Mcintosh Cross, the headmaster of Saint Dominic Grammer School in Haverstock Hill. There are two copies of the writ and one draft copy. All are in very good condition.                   £5.00 including p/p.

1951 FESTIVAL of BRITAIN SOUVENIR PROGRAMME FOR CHESTER - A 32 page softback souvenir programme celebrating the Chester Festival from May 8th to November 3rd 1951. The programmes staples are rusty but otherwise it is in very good condition.         £4.00 including p/p.

ORDNANCE SURVEY MAP OF SOUTH WEST ENGLAND 1927 -  An Ordnance Survey map of South West England. The map is sheet 10 and has a scale of 1/4” to 1 mile and had a price of 3 shillings. The map covers the area of Devonshire and Cornwall and is in very good condition.                                         £5.00 including p/p

GREAT WESTERN RAILWAY BUSINESS CARD - A business reply card to the Superintendent of The Great Western Railway at Paddington Station. The card is unused and there is no date but possibly 1950’s.                                £3.00 including p/p.

THREE BRITISH RAILWAYS POST CARDS - Three British Rail Postcards addressed to the Superintendent at Eastern Region Fenchurch Street and Southern Region Waterloo Station. The third has the region and station blank. All are unused and in very good condition. There are no dates but possibly 1960’s.                           £4.00 including p/p.

TWO CINEMA LOBBY PHOTOGRAPH CARDS FOT THE FILM FLIPPER - Two cinema lobby photo cards for the film Flipper which starred Chuck Connors.    They are coloured and show Luke Halpin with the Dolphin. Both are in very good condition.            £6.00 including p/p.

CINEMA LOBBY PHOTOGRAPH CARD FOT THE FILM TIARA TAHITI -  A cinema lobby photo card for the film Tiara Tahiti starring James Mason and John Mills. The coloured photo shows the actor Herbert Lom with an unidentified actress. It is in very good condition.                                                £3.00 including p/p.

BANBURY DIVISION OF OXFORDSHIRE CONSERVATIVE AND UNIONIST ASSOCIATION. FETE PROGRAMME DATED 1st AUGUST 1949.    A 16 page Fete Programme held at Blenheim Palace. There are nine photographs including one of Sir Winston Churchill. There are also some old local advertisements. This is complete and in very good condition.       £4.00 including p/p.

ADVERTISING LEAFLET - HITCHCOCK, WILLIAMS & Co - An advertising leaflet selling ladies dressing gowns and lingerie. It shows on one page 12 illustrations of ladies in dressing gowns and on another 6 ladies in dressing gowns and 6 ladies modelling lingerie. The company being Hitchcock, Williams & co of St. Pauls Churchyard, London, EC4. The leaflet is in very good condition.                    £4.00 including p/p.

WOODY WOODPECKER MUSIC SHEET - A 4 page music sheet of the Woody Woodpecker cartoons. The music being originally recorded by Kay Kyser. The sheet was published in 1948 by the Leeds Music Corporation. There are some slight signs of wear but generally it is in very good condition.                                               £3.00 including p/p.

THE SONG FROM MOULIN ROUGE MUSIC SHEET -  A 4 page music / song sheet featuring the song from Moulin Rouge “ Where is Your Heart”. The song was from John Hustons film starring Jose Ferrer. It would appear that the date is 1953. There is a signature from a previous owner but otherwise is in very good condition.                 £3.00 including p/p.

WORLD SPEEDWAY CHAMPIONSHIP INTERCONTINENTAL FINAL 1976 - An official programme from the final held at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 26th June 1976.     The programme is complete with small signs of wear. The centre rider card has been filled in by a previous owner showing heat numbers and points.                    £3.00 including p/p.

POSTCARD OF ISABEL JAY - A postcard of Isabel JAY (1879 - 1927) who was a musical star of the theatre. There is a post mark date of 1907.   There is a crease in the top right hand corner which does not affect the photograph.                                                                                                            £3.00 including p/p

GREEK LINE TSS OLYMPIA 1957 MEDITERRANEAN SAILING SCHEDULE. A leaflet giving the sailing times for the TSS Olympia of the Greek Shipping Line. On the back of the leaflet is a colour drawing of the ship.      £3.00 including p/p.

POSTCARD of The TSS NEW YORK of The GREEK LINE. a colour postcard showing a painting of the TSS New York. On the reverse is the wording General Steam Navigation Co Ltd of Greece together with offices around the world. The card is unused and in very good condition.      No date but probably 1950’s.             £3.00 including p/p.

AA 1964 MOTORING IN EUROPE GUIDE and INFORMATION LEAFLETS. A 23 page motoring in Europe guide published by The Automobile Association. A 1964 shipping services guide for motor vehicles to France. An AA leaflet informing about security, assistance and Insurance. An AA Royal Exchange Assurance Group of Companies and an AA Motoring in France Mini Guide. All in very good condition.   £8.00 including p/p

SHORE ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE RMS FRANCONIA 1935. A one page information leaflet giving the shore arrangements for the RMS Franconia at Port Said on Friday 11th October 1935. The leaflet is signed Thos. Cook & Son Ltd. There are small tears around the edges but not that affects any wording.   £3.00 including p/p.

LETTER FROM THE PROVIDENT LIFE DATED 6th FEBRUARY 1904. A letter from The Provident Life of 50 Regent Street, London to Sharpe and Wade solicitors of Market Deeping, Lincolnshire making reference to a £3,000 loan. The letter has been folded but is still in very good condition.   £3.00 including p/p.

AUCTION PARTICULARS for the sale of the PETRE ARMS, BILLINGTON, 1936. A one sheet A4 size auction particulars for the sale of a hotel called the Petre Arms in Billington, near Whalley in Lancashire. The auction took place at the Old Bull Hotel in Blackburn on Wednesday 14th October 1936. In pencil at the bottom it say’s Sold to S. Smith for £4900. This is still in very good condition ans a nice piece of local ephemera.  £3.00 including p/p.

EVERYBODY’S BEAUTIFUL BRITAIN in maps and pictures. A 64 page softback. Area’s covered include roads from London to Newcastle and Manchester to Glasgow, the stately homes of Surrey, Sussex, Berks and Bucks, English villages of Devon, Dorset, Lancs and Yorks and the Cities of Cambridge, Oxford, Edinburgh and York. Dated the 17th september 1955 and published by Everybody’s publications this is in very good condition.      £4.00 including p/p.

FILM PICTORIAL MAGAZINE. A 55 page page All Star Souvenir Number Film Pictorial dated the 30th September 1933. Star articles include Marlene Dietrich, Joan Crawford, Clive Brook, Leslie Howard, Laurel & Hardy, Ronald Colman, Gracie Fields, Robert Montgomery and Norma Shearer. The magazine is in very good condition.     £6.00 including p/p.

SCOTTISH NATIONAL WAR MEMORIAL Official Guide. A 39 page softback guide to the Scottish War Memorial with two photographs.The guide is a fourth edition published in 1943 by David Macdonald. The staples are rusty but otherwise is still in very good condition.                  £3.00 including p/p.

SCOTTISH NATIONAL WAR MEMORIAL, The Castle, Edinburgh. A record and appreciation by Sir Lawrence Weaver. A 20 page softback with 63 black and white photographs. There is no date but possibly late 1920’s. Published by Country Life and in very good condition.                         £8.00 including p/p.

ROYAL ADMISSION PASS 1897. A pass to admit the bearer to the roof of Buckingham Palace on Monday 28th June 1897. The two top corners have been slightly clipped and there are small nicks around the edges. There is no damage to the lettering and considering it’s age is still in good condition and a nice piece of Victorian Royal ephemera.   £5.00 including p/p.

QUEEN ELIZABETH II CORONATION PROGRAMME. A 40 page approved souvenir programme of the Queens Coronation on the 2nd June 1953 which contains the itinerary and photographs. The programme is in very good condition.    £6.00 including p/p.

WEDDING OF PRINCESS ALEXANDRA OF KENT SOUVENIR PROGRAMME. A 32 page approved souvenir programme for the wedding of Princess Alexandra of Kent and Angus Ogilvy in Westminster Abbey on the 24th April 1963 in very good condition.  £4.00 including p/p.

ROLL OF HONOUR 1939 - 1945 of J. SAINSBURY LTD. A 8 page Roll of Honour listing members of staff of J. Sainsbury Ltd., who lost their lives in the Second World War.                   £10.00 including p/p.

ROYAL OPERA COVENT GARDEN PROGRAMME 30th JUNE 1954. A gala performance of Le Coq D’or in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh in honour of the King and Queen of Sweden and which is in very good condition.  £8.00 including p/p.

ROYAL OPERA COVENT GARDEN PROGRAMME 27th OCTOBER 1955. A gala performance of The Bartered Bride in the presence of Her Majecty The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh in honour of the visit of The President of Portugal and which is in very good condition.                       £8.00 including p/p

ROYAL OPERA COVENT GARDEN PROGRAMME 8th JUNE 1953. A gala performance of Gloriana in the presence of Her Majesty The Queen on the occasion of The Coronation.                   £8.00 including p/p.

COUNTY OF RUTLAND POSTER dated 1923. A poster dated July 1923 providing information under the Diseases of Animals Act concerning the Movement of Sheep. The poster has been folded and has contemporary alterations in red ink to some of the printed lettering but is still in good condition.    £5.00 including p/p.

SHAKESPEARE MEMORIAL THEATRE 1957. A 48 page softback booklet giving information on the seasons productions. Photographs of the star’s include Peggy Ashcroft, Richard Johnson, and John Gielgud plus portraits and information on several others. This is in very good condition  £6.00 including p/p.

STAMFORD GUIDE BOOK 1962. A 119 page softback guidebook to Stamford in Lincolnshire with maps and photographs. Published by Dolby Brothers of Stamford the guide is still in very good condition.    £6.00 including p/p.

SALE OF 30 SHARES IN NORWICH UNION 1881. A four page document containing auction particulars relating to the sale of 30 shares in the Norwich Union Fire Insurance Society. The sale being ordered by the executors of the late Philip William Rose and which took place at the Norfolk Hotel in Norwich on Tuesday 26th April 1881. This is in very good condition.                 £3.00 including p/p.

SALE OF 50 SHARES IN NORWICH UNION 1880. A four page document containing auction particulars relating to the sale of 50 shares in the Norwich Union Fire Insurance Society.The sale being ordered as a result of the death of a W. R. Clarke of Norfolk. The auction was held at the Norfolk Hotel in Norwich on Tuesday 27th July 1880. This is in very good condition.                        £3.00 including p/p.

INLAND REVENUE DUTY ACCOUNT 1892. An Inland Revenue Duty Account Form completed upon the death of Horace lock Ringer who died on the 23rd June 1890. The accounting party is given as Thomas Frederick Ringer a farmer of Summerfield, Kings Lynn. The property of the deceased is only given as a Farm House and buildings in Whissonett in Norfolk. These are two identical four page documents and are in very good condition.      £4.00 including p/p.

NORTH FAVERSHAM BRICKWORKS LIMITED BANKERS RECEIPT 1894. A bankers receipt for the Metroploitan Bank of England and Wales Limited. The receipt has not been filled in but it is for deposits of £1 per debenture in the brickwork Company. It is not dated but on the reverse is a letter writtenthat reveals the date to be the 14th May 1894. The receipt has been folded and shows signs of wear around the edgesbut is still in good condition for its age.               £3.00 including p/p.

CLAYGATE BRICKFIELDS 1936 PRICE LIST. A 12 page price list relating to Claygate Brickfields Limited of Claygate in Surrey. This is in very good condition. £3.00 including p/p.

LOVELY LAKELAND. A 32 page softback booklet illustrated by 55 Photogravures of Lakeland scenes plus a map on the rear. There is a photo of Wordsworth’s home and of his grave. Published by G. P. Abraham of Keswick the staples have rusted but otherwise is in very good condition. There is no date but is probably 1940’s.          £4.00 including p/p.

100 VIEWS OF OXFORD. A 30 page softback booklet containg 100 black and white photographs of Oxford. Published by Alfred Savage of Oxford, although the centre staples have rusted the book is in very good condition. There is no date but is probably 1940’s.                      £4.00 including p/p.

ST. MARGARET’S, KIPPINGTON, SEVENOAKS. A 22 page softback book containing twelve black and white photographs of St. Margarets Nursery and Nursery School in Sevenoaks. There are signs of wear to the edges but otherwise the booklet is still in very good condition. There is no date but is probably 1920/30’s.   £4.00 including p/p.

ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS. A collection of four documents relating to the centenary (1834 to 1934) of the Foresters. 1) A menu relating to the centenary dinner at the Guildhall, London on the 26th October 1934. The cover is slightly grubby and the rear contains a number of signatures.  2) Record of Proceedings at the same dinner. The staples have rusted causing the paper close to the staples to have marked. 3) An invitation card to the same dinner in very good condition. 4) A plan of tables to the same dinner in very good condition.  £5.00 including p/p.

POSTER OF POLL dated October 1923. A poster giving the result of the parliamentary election of October 1923 for the Rutland and Stamford division. The winner being Neville Woodford Smith-Carington. MARKET DEEPING RAILWAY COMPANY. A prospectus and application form for shares in the above company. The prospectus was for the purchase of shares in order to finance the building of a railway line between Market Deeping and the surrounding villages including Helpston. There is no date but it is probably about 1880. This is in very good condition.            £12.00 including p/p.
